Help with Time Formulas

I work in the EMS field, we have been using Approach for years for a report that gives a calulation of response times.
We had a problem and had to erase the file and start again this year, now using the formula the same way as before doesn't seem to work.

This is what I have in field definition formula/options now.

TextToTime("On Scene" - Received)

We have another report that calculates enroute times and the formula is almost identical and works perfectly.
Any idea why the formula won't work?

I would need to know the value of "On Scene" and "Received" and whether they are text or time values???

Sue,I fixed it! I had the field properties wrong. It clicked when I was trying to explain it to you! lol
