I am starting on a new project that involves creating a collection of images, word documents, and video files that would have attached descriptive data. I was curious if I could store the files directly into a oracle database? I am not to familar with oracle and do not know if this can be done. Or should I store a filehandle in the database and save the files onto a network directory.
