Help with short codes

Hi All,

I have an IPO 406 DS V6(18)and IPO Manager V8 (18) and I have a couple of questions.

At the moment, we're having a difficult time with weather. I've managed to make it into the office and I've switched oue "Inclement Weather" greeting on by using a shortcode *81.

First question, does IPO have the ability to do this if I call into the system? Is that a built in function or something that also must be programmed?

Second question is, now that the inclement weather message is being played, can I reduce the number of rings it takes before it is played without affecting any of the other programming? I would like this greeting to be played after one ring but I do not want to change any of the other greeting settings.

How did you progam this announcement?
Is it a queue message for a group?
If yes then make another group with the needed extensions to ring.
On the initial group remove the extensions and set the new group as a overflow group after a number of seconds, the number of seconds of the Overflow timer must be equal or larger as the duration of you message.
on the initial group decrease the queue answer time to 1 second and set the overflow mode to call.
In ICR set the initial group as the call target.
New calls will first hear the message and after the message the call will ring at the overflowgroup members.
