Help with Service Pack 1

Hi guys,

My server is currently running a beta of service pack 1. If I download the current one, could I just install on top of the old one? Would this effect my exchange which has service pack 2?

I doubt it would cause issues but have you considered un-installing the beta through Add/Remove programs and then re-installing the correct SP1 update? Also bare in mind that certain patches may cease to work since they are reliant on SP1 being installed, therefore these may need to be re-installed also. Others may want to chime in on this one.

I believe the final SP1 can be installed over the beta. As was pointed out you will need to reinstall patches released since SP1. You MAY want to wait at this point, SP2 is due for release within 1 1/2 months.

It should have no affect on the Exchange install.
