I cannot get past this error at all in Manage,I've tried everything from sending older backups of .CFG's restarting VM Pro and the whole server and also doing a repair install.I am able to load up my other SCN configurations ok just not local.Phones are stuck on discovery, not sure what else to do

What's you issue and what are you trying to do?

Don't see how restarting VM Pro would help with anything.

Janni, this indeed sounds strange but does work sometimes.
But in this case I think it is the security option within manager.
Go to file, preferences and set the security to none and not off.

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I don't seem to have that option, on the security tab it has some boxes greyed out except Close Configuration and Secure Communications, am I in the wrong place?

It was unchecked, what else should I try?

Check it and set it to none.

Try using a 7.0 manager as this is odd.

Hey sdee12,

I sometimes get this error when doing an old fashioned dialin or over a VPN connection. Sometimes I can get it to connect by Right-Clicking Manager and selecting "Run as Admin" (Only happens on a couple of our sites) Otherwise it's an odd routing issue.

Also had the issue wayback on V7.0 on our own in house system which had 2 sites in a SCN which may be a bit more relevant to your case. Only solution was upgrade as far as you can and use the matching Manager application.

Is it possible it could be an issue with the SD card?

Turned out there was a loop in the network that was causing it
