Have 2 servers on different subnets (1 and 5). The original server on subnet one connects to an isdn router also on subnet 1. The routing table on this server shows a route for this. I now have to get the server on subnet 5 to do the same. However whenever I try to set this route it tells me 'the network is unreachable'. I can ping the isdn router but I need a route added in the routing table I think. Am I talking rubbish!!!

I think if I am reading this correctly you might want something like:
Code:
route add net subnet 5.0 isdn router

I am a little confused.. How can you ping it without the
route? Also, does the ISDN router have a route to the new subnet (5.0) ?
