I am having trouble with a qsig tie line in BC11.It is connected to Avaya PBX.There are no alarms.

Right now, i can make calls from the MD110 to the Avaya if i am not too fast in dialling my digits. If i dial a number to that location, say 3202,very fast on the keypad of a phone, i get back a continuous tone (after dialling the 4 digits). Also, if i press the redial button or i press *** which implies external redial, i get a continuous tone. The normal thing should be that whenever i make a redial ,the last number should be redialled.
I think the router is slow in accepting the digits sent or there is a delay in dial tone gotten back from the router (maybe the pbx has sent all the digits before getting a tone from the router).
Is there any timer either system wide, or for a route - I am not sure which) to delay output of dialing. Like delay start of output and maybe delay between digits?.

any ideas pls.

Hi Haja,

Thanks for your help. The problem has been resolved. DID(direct inward dial) had to be set to Yes on the router.
