For some reason, it gets detected as a DIG STA 8 st startup, attaching boot log:

Already validated the part number, I dont know why is doung this, is a brand new digital card and pri card, and this is being extracted from a NEW Ip office, i dont get why it doesnt appear as PRI

This is how you set these to "out of service" (fuera de servicio)

As you can see, I have only 2 channels enabled, and yet I still get that blasted alarm

Probably a bug! Check SSA to see what is in service.

Final words:

The equipment operated Ok, the culprit was a missconnection from the side of the provider that we never noticed on the balun, once that got corrected the channels went OK.

It still has the alarms but the channels are working correctly

The damaged equipment were the IPO 500 unit, the digital station module and the PRIU daughterboard, which were replaced, thanks to your aid I had enough evidence to warrant the change of the IPO unit, because the old one worked "fine" (but got those weird DSP errors on startup)

And sorry to bother guys with stuff that is supposed to be basic, I am new to these things, I usually check Nortel Equipment (BCM, option 11, 61, 81)
