help with photoshop7 fonts and brushes

I have downloaded many brushes and fonts from the net. They all go to my download file or I put them in my docs. After they are there i can't get them downloaded to my photoshop program. Can someone help me out I think I've tryed everything.

Hi,
presuming you are running Windows, copy your brushes i.e. the files with extension .abr into Drive:\Programs\Adobe\Photoshop(your version)\Presets\Brushes. The font files belong in Drive:\Windows\Fonts.
When you next start PS you will probably have to manually load the brushes as follows: Click Windows|Brushes and then click on the little black arrow top right in that window then Load Brushes.
The Operating system takes care of the fonts once copied and are available immediately.
