I'm not sure if anyone has ever come across this problem, as I certainly have not.
Well, here are the facts. I am using MS Access 2000 on a Win 2000 workstation. The PC is relatively new, 2.8 GHz with 512Mb RAM. The workstation is connected to a LAN (Novell Netwok).
The problem which happened coincidentally about the same time as SP 4 was released. However I cannot say for certain it is related. Anyhow, the problem is I have three backend Access mdb's stored on the file server and for some strange reason I cannot directly open more than one mdb at a time using Explorer. The problem is more annoying than anything else. My workaround, which seems to work OK, is to firstly open MS Access from the program manager then open the database using File-Open.
Our Help desk is at a loss to explain or solve the problem , so if anyone knows of a solution to this problem please reply to this post.
Cheers
Anthony
