While in a document in word 2000 if I go to Format, Borders and shading, choose Page Border then click Shadow...it puts a border on all 4 sides. But, if I do a File, Print Preview it does not show the border at the bottom. If I print, it does not print it either. I have adjusted the margins but can not get it to print the bottom border on paper. Any ideas?....

Most *at home* printers are not capable of the default bottom margin that Word provides.

To to File-Page setup, Margins tab and make the footer .75" and the bottom margin 1.25". Hit the DEFAULT button at the bottom-left.

Now, go to Format-Borders and shading. Page border tab. Hit the options button. Tell the border to be, for instance 10 pts from TEXT, not edge of page.
