Hi guys --
I have exhausted all of my avenues and just have no place else to turn. I have been using Nexvortex SIP trunks on my IP Office 500 v2 for several months and it worked FANTASTIC! 2 weeks ago I unplugged the system to clean up a bit and when I plugged it back in I started having problems. When someone dials in to one of the SIP DID's and it CFDNA's to Voice Mail, the IPO shows that they are in voicemail, but the caller does not hear any audio. If I answer the incoming call, I am unable to place it on hold, transfer it or park it. Outbound calls work fine.

I have re programmed the config, swapped out the IP Office cabinet and Combo Card and rebuilt the SIp Trunk Line. Still having the same problems. I'm open for any suggestions. User DAVIDCT was so helpful when I first set this up and I have been unable to find him :(

Thanks all!

Hello nortelphonegirl,

I believe in order to resolve this, I will need more details on your network architecture. We need to verify that your stun server on the Avaya is operational and nothing is stopping your ability to processes external request. I can only assume that is the case since outbound calls work fine.
So seems you are having an issue completing the call which may be caused by your firewall capturing the RTP packets and possibly the SIP packets before the call is "setup".(after reboots funny things always happen) If that is not the case, then I would verify that your public IP is being populated in your c= string from the Avaya sip message in order for the carrier (nexvortex) to verify where the rtp/sip traffic is sent.

Let me know if this helps.

Here I am :)

I think I still have your info. If you do not have an email from me in the next couple of hours you can get it from Nexvortex... tek-tips scolds us for passing on emails in this forum. Once we get it to work, you can post back here for others to share.
