Hi Expert I would like some tips to conduct a network assessment on a network were the speed of the network get slow during lunch time. is there any free application I would be able to use as I need to fine out if user may be listen to music or watching movie on the network causing a bottleneck

I use Solarwinds.
It identifies in real-time any ports that are showing unusual levels of activity. In this manner it allowed me to snuff out a zero-day virus out break once, as well as document under-provisioned links and hassle people using too much bandwidth.

It's worth using the firewall to identify excessive use of non-work related websites - judiciously blocking access to the websites causing the most traffic is one way to massively reduce the "lunch-time slowdown".
Poisoning those websites in your internal DNS is a more efficient way of preventing access.

And finally, distribution of an "Acceptable Use" policy to all employees should also be undertaken.

Hi Expert I install scruntiner and it is working great. I do see source and destination of high talker
