Yes you can. First you need to set up your page with a javascript that opens the window full screen with no buttons, location bar etc. then embed your swf into that file.

Thanks for the help but thats not really fullscreen. I have seen pages that have fullscreen though. Anyone?

Also visit my page(link in first post). When you drag the info window, can you see it move?

ok have you tried using the FScommand in the creation of your movie?

Did any of you bother to check the link I gave?

Something wrong with the FAQ I put up? Worked the last time I checked so if your having specific problems with it let me know and I'll update it if necessary.

I followed the instructions but it was still in a window. could this be different in different browsers?

I think you'll always get a border with netscape no matter what you try, but the above will push the border to it's limits.

NS will allways keep the top address bar with the standard minimize, maximize, and close icons.
Beats not knowing about the Alt->F4 trick!

This will only work with IE! And then again, it won't on AOL, even if it's a modified IE browser!

Also what is the most common screen resolution?

I'd say 800*600... But go figure!
So designing a little smaller than that (something like 750*550 not using % scaling) should generally work fine!
For those still on 640*480, well...

I use 1024*768!

I agree with old. I guess it all depends on your target audience. My work site is designed for 800-600 but the site I'm designing for myself is designed for 1024-768 as it's going to contain mostly design stuff and (one day) animations. funkymonk B-)
