Hi,

I am new to MD110. Currently there is a MDN xxxx setup and there are 4 extensions associated with it. When we ring the MDN ext it allways tragets the same extension. Is there a way to force it to jump in turns or change it to different extension

<KSMDP:mdn=7100;
KEY SYSTEM MULTIPLE DIRECTORY NUMBER DATA
MDN DIR KEY CALALT
7455 *7100 - -
7000 14 2
7001 14 2
7002 14 1

When we ring it always picks 7002 is there a way to change it.

Thanks in advance

Hi niroshan,
it is because, the calalt =1 for 7002, and other extns is 2.

if u want to ring it in all these extns simultaneously change calalt = 1 for all, or select accordingly. (wherever calalt=1, it will ring)

or if u want to ring 7455 in another extn other than these 4, use pelpi on 7455 to ring on the required extension, and change the calalt on 7002 & others to 2.

Hi Monro,

Thanks heaps for your prompt response.

Can you please let me know how I can change the calalt to 2 for all of them. If you can suggest some command would be much appriciated.

KSFKP:DIR=7402;

Hi Monro,

Thanks for the response.

When I tried below error came up..

<ksmde:dir=7430,mdn=7455;
NOT ACCEPTED
KEY NOT MDN
<
TIME OUT WARNING

Hi niroshan, before you can delete MDN, you need to delete the mns funciotn on it (it's the function that permit the click and dial), the command chain should be something like this:

KSFKC:DIR=7402,KEY=14,FCN=MDN;
KSMDE:DIR=7402,MDN=7430;

After this command the keys it will be free, so you can reprogram MDN with the correct CALALT.

KSMDI:DIR=7402,KEY=14,MDN=7455,CALALT=1;

the remebber to re-enable the click to dial function with command

KSFKC:DIR=7402,KEY=14,FCN=MNS,DIG=7402;

all this command are valid for a BC9 System, for newer version it's a little bit different.

Bye
Mirko
