Help with Javascript/Absolute positioning/CSS please

I'm having a lot of problems with a Javasscript/CSS/html file combination and the way that it's rendering. I'm trying to accomplish this menu system look without using Flash:


Here is my code so far. Note that the bounce/drop in menu item is just not displaying properly. I can't get the absolute positioning to work no matter what I try. Please help me if you can. Thanks!

I have to disagree : it looks horrible.

But I would say, this is because the way you write HTML. The menu links and their descriptions are just enumerated, separated with [tt]br[/tt] tags. Not mentioning the huge blah-blah on the right, all in one [tt]h1[/tt]. Better start with spending time to learn to use HTML semantically and add JavaScript only after that.
