Help with Ipaq 5450 Sync

Hi I have had my computer and ipaq working perfectly but since I did a hard restore I now sync everything but unfortunatly I get a message in the contacts section saying attention required! any help please

Oh I am trying to sync the contacts from Outlook 2000 to my ipaq.

Which version of ActiveSync are you using?

You say you did a hard restore. Do you mean a hard reset and then restored your iPaq from a backup file?

OH I DID A RESET THEN HELD DOWN THE TWO BUTTONS AND PRESSED THE RESET BUTTON? SO IT BECAME BLANK AGAIN I HAD MY FILES ON MY STORAGE CARD SO i HAVNT DONE ANY BACK UP

BUT I HAVE MY CONTACTS IN OUTLOOK 2000

ACTIVE SYNC 3.7.1

You might try downloading ActiveSync and re-installing. There is a new build of the software that fixes some bugs. Ususally when I get a message like that, I do a soft reset and then re-sync and everything is fine.

Let me know if this doesn't solve your problem.
