Help with inbound dial-peer for new DID

Hello. I have a UC560 and a PRI with a full block of DID's - the range is like 813-555-5500 through 813-555-5599. For this setup, we just used the extensions 5500 through 5599 and configured a "catch-all" inbound dial-peer for these DIDs.

We have an additional number being ported over, such as 813-555-3600 and I need to configure that inbound DID to go to the receptionist at extension 5500. This is the setup I have..

voice translation-rule 3600
rule 1 /8135553600/ /5500/

voice translation-profile TRANSLATE_3600
translate called 3600

dial-peer voice 3600 pots
incoming called-number 8135553600
translation-profile incoming TRANSLATE_3600
direct-inward-dial

Is this pretty much all I need to bring that inbound call to 8135553600 to the receptionists' extension at 5500?

Any input on this is greatly appreciated - I've never done a translation on an inbound dial-peer.

Your config look pretty close. Something else that might work that's a little easier.

num-exp 8135553600 5500

This will convert the number similarly to what you are doing. Then let the normal ephone-dn/ephone conbination deliver the call to the phone.

Ugh.. sometimes I try to over-complicate things. num-exp will work perfectly.

Thanks!
