I need help with the syntax of the code that goes behind the Print button so that the form well display to a form then print. I am in VFP 7.0

Hi;

In the click event:

REPORT FORM <report name> PREVIEW

Ed Please let me know if the sugestion(s) I provide are helpful to you.
Sometimes you're the windshield... Sometimes you're the bug.

This worked except it displayed the whole table with no association to the information on the form. I only want the information that is shown on my form. (name,ssn and information in a list box)

To have a report that mimics the look of a form, you will need to manually set up the report to do so. You'll need to place the fields where you want them to appear in the report designer.

Ramani, this worked EXCEPT in my list box I well have a list of detail lines for several years. Your suggestion only showed the first line of the list box. How do I show all the rows on the report

Jackie1948-

From:

File/New/Report

Now in Report Designer:

Report/Quick Report

Select Table

Select Layout and Field List

From:

File/Print Preview

Save, modify, etc.
