Help with Command 1290 on ips 2000 pbx

I need some help with command 1290. I was able to delete the mac address of the extension that I wanted, but how do I reprogram a new mac address. I am doing this thru matworx32's moc mode.

If you are using DHCP mode then you should be able to just log the IP phone in and 1290 will automatically be programmed with the new MAC Address.

Once you log in the system will record the mac address. I have never recorded them manually.

Now when we go to login on that phone, its giving an "unauthorized" message. How can I fix this?

cause: "An invalid password is entered when the user attempts to login to the IP Enabled dterm set in Login mode. (From this indication, configuration display can be shown by the ordinary configuration data assignment operation.)"

action: • Enter the correct password again. (When an unknown Station Number (Station Number that is not stored in the MGC memory Card) is also entered, this message will be issued.)

If you have a PW and are unware of what it is. Use the following commands.

2B00>Sta#> this will provide the unique PW given to that phone.

If there is not a unique PW and the system uses a PW check 2B10>00> this is the System PW for first time login.
