I currently have a Exch 5.5 on a W2K server in a NT 4 domain. I used the FAQ 10-1321 to append text using the IMS Extension DLL and it works. I am now in need of a method of adding this to email sent within my organization. Does anyone use or know of a third party solution that would easily add a disclaimer and works with Exch 5.5/2000?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

A little search in this forum would have got you thread10-522534
It is actually on the first page of this forum today! [sub]If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

I had already inquired and found the original solution to setup this process. Everything worked great. Now after the fact, I was wandering if there was a way to use the actual Exchange x400 address for internal email use. My internal mail does pass thru the IMC at all, so a different solution would apply. It appears that I would need a third party solution to accomplish this.

Fine, I just wonder why anyone would use a disclaimer in-house. [sub]If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

I agree with you about using this in house. We are a medical facility and are under restrictions to protect patient data.

Thanks for your help.

Medical, ok, I understand you need confidentiality.
But, if you don't mind, just out of curiosity, what would you put in an internal disclaimer that people working there don't already know (Or are supposed to know)? [sub]If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

That was the point I tried to make to them. For now they just want to feel safe. We are using personal signatures for the users that exchange patient data for now.

O, I see, it's a silly management idea, ok, good luck hunting then. [sub]If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.
