Help with a headset on a M7208

I Have a customer in a call center enviroment using M7208's with Plantronics PLX-500 headsets. Customer is complaining of low volume. Anyone have any input on switch settings on the headset or are these incompatable? Ant help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get a response on this? I checked on the Plantronis web site. I'm not familiar with that model. The M7208 is supposed to have a built in amplifier therefore only a headset without external circuitry should be used.

My question is has anyone been able to use a standard cell phone or cordless headset on the M7208? Of couse with an RJ22 crimped on the connection end.
