Hello,

I purchased a Legend with an 007MLM module awhile back and set it up. It is currently setup to AA and transfer to extension as appropriate. Voice Mail picks up if the phone is not answered, etc. I still have two minor annoyances which I would like help resolving.

1) Incomming calls do two rings to the operator ext before AA picks up. I would like it to go direct to AA first. I don't know if this matters, but I have Caller-id delay set.

2) How can I allow incomming calls to transfer directory to the VM extension. I need to be able to call the phone system and check my VM remotely. I can currently dial my VM extension (789) directly internally and check my VM from any extension.

Set the lines on the Operator phone to delayed ring. You don't hear the ringing before the AA picks up, but if all the VM ports are in use and can't answer, the operator's phone eventually rings so you can answer.

When you reach the auto attendant, dial *7 to be able to lof in and check your messages.

Thanks for your help, Tommy!

I also had a primary cover button set to have all other phones cover that extension. I had to set delayed ring on all the other extensions as well. I did find out that WinSPM does not copy the delayed ring settings when you do a 'copy extension' much to my annoyance. Once I set the ring delay on all extensions (what a pain) it works well.

And, *7 worked great!

Thanks Again!
Rob.
