Help! When installing service Pack

Help!
When installing service Pack 6a I receive the following errors:
An error occurred copying NTLDR
An error occurred copying NTDETECT.COM

I can only skip these files
Any ideas

I have had this before. I found a really weird way of correcting this. My install was on a server operating on a monitor switch. If I had the install screen displaying I got errors. If I started the install and then flicked to another screen the install worked fine. I don't know if this helps but it worked for me. Another weird one that Arthur C Clarke would be proud of...
