Help using OE6 with MSN webmail

Members,
A friend currently gets to his MSN email (he pays for email and internet access) using "MSN Explorer" and the MSN/Hotmail website.
How do I configure Outlook Express 6 to compose, receive, and send his email?
How do I configure Outlook Express 6 so he can store his email locally, not on the MSN server?
How do I configure Internet Explorer 6 as his primary browser, and remove/disable "MSN Explorer"?
Any and all suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you.

you can go to tools>accounts>click "add" and select "mail" then follow the directions. it should be pretty simple. good luck.

somehow I thought it would be more difficult...

I thought I read somewhere that using MSN Explorer forces MSN email to a webmail-only arrangement?

you can set-up your hotmail in outlook but they don't support it. it does work well though.
