Hi to all

Since this morning one of the main trunks group keeps failing when you try to make a call sounds like occupied, when this happens i reset the trunk with the command busyout trunk 4 and release trunk 4 and the trunk function again but in a few minutes the same, the trunk goes down, y made a test trunk 4 and when the command make the test 314 send the error 2053 and result ABORT, i only want to know if the problem is of the provider or is in the PBX, i think is the service provider because another past time when this problem happened was a problem in the provider, but how can i be sure.

Thanks again in advanced !!!

if you look at status trunk is it always the same ports locked up or random ones , really to test a board it needs to be buised out.

but here is a description of your error.Follow the bottom instruction disp errors and see what turn up.

ABORT At least one of the following errors was found on the DS1 circuit pack:
● 1281 - Loss of signal
● 1793 - Blue alarm
● 2049 - Red alarm
● 2305 - Yellow alarm
● 1537 - Hyperactivity

1. Enter display errors and check for the listed Error Types in the
Error Log. If any exist, follow the procedures for DS1-BD (DS1 Interface
Circuit Pack) or UDS1-BD (UDS1 Interface Circuit Pack) for the existing
Error Type.

Hi montyzummer

First of all thanks for yout help,

I made a display errors command and the result shows many errors but for that trunk group in specific is the following:

Port Mtce Name Alt Name Err Type Aux Data First Occur Last Occur Err Cnt Err Rt Rt Hr State Ac
01A07 UDS1-BD 2049 111 5 4 a y

I don't know how to interpret or troubleshoot that error's, i am in charge of the PBX administration in my job, but i'm not an expert i've been lerning something with the expierence, how can i troubleshoot the errors and alarms and what's is the minimum maintenance, that i could do periodically.

Thanks again hopefully you can help me.

For peridic checks.

Status health.

list measurements summary (in fact the list measurements command is usefull in many ways of identifying issues hit f5 and look at your options)

Stat trunk x where x= trunk group inn question , look for active ports with no connected port and see if there is a pattern this is real time.

list trace a call when you are having issues prepend the trace with a /m , this will give you mst tracing and you can view this from the web page.

test ds1 facility 01a07

test board long o1a07 (busy board first)

this document will help decipher alarms
