Hi All, I'm really stuck here - any help would be appreciated ! :)

I've just installed Presentation svr 4 on a windows 2003 server called CTRX3. I also have a 2003 server running the citrix licensing and TS licensing server seperately for redundancy. I have defined a farm (LO_CITRIX) + published an application (in this case internet explorer).

I have activated the terminal server licensing server and added 100 Per User Cal Tokens, and i have also added 10 users onto the citrix licensing. I have more citrix licenses but i wanted to get it running before adding the rest.

When i try to add the farm i get the "There is no Citrix Server configured on the specified address" message.

Anyone know what i've missed here because i am stumped !?

Thanks

Steve

You will need to change it on all the servers. You may have to revisit the clients to make sure they use port 81 too.

So what is on port 80 ?

Just trying to find that out... IIS is definately not on there so i cant work out whats going on :eek:/ Lol

Aha - rebooted the server after removing IIS and now i have registered the XML service back to port 80 :D

Getting somewhere slowly but surely... lol

Right then lets leave it at 80 then (standard). Now lets see what happens.

Hi Scott,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

The problems have been solved. The licesning server is issuing the correct licenses now which means the clients no longer get the odd message.

Just out of interest - would you know what ports i would have to open using windows firewall ?

I tried opening port 1494 with tcp but the farm goes out of sight then.

Thanks

Steve

Well there is port 80, 1494 and if you use udp the port 1604. That should do it. However if you require CMC the you are talking 2513 and 2514, I think.
