HELP!! Stuborn Trojan

I have a users Dell Laptop running XP that picked up several trojans. The last one that I cannot get rid of is Collected.2.AY Grisoft,s AVG will find it, delete the file ooehszjs.sys, but IExplorer wont work after that. i am close to just formating and reloading, but hope I will get some idea of what to do next here first.

Try reinstalling internet explorer This utility does the job well. I had problems with a damaged installation.

I would try Hijack this or Microsoft Antispyware. A Spyware product will kill a trojan sometimes better than a virus product.
