HELP: Send a file from office program issue

Hi,
When I try sending a file from any office application using: file/send to...
the file is not sent and I get an error:
the operation failed due to netwok or other communication problrms. check your connections and try again

if I open a new email and attach the file, every thing works fine.

can some body help please?

This seems to be a common problem - lot of forums ask the question - not always an answer.

A couple of possible solutions:
