I've got a block of data that I want to filter down to 3 brand types using a global filter. But I want to rank the results against ALL the brands. I.E. if brand one is 64th overall but 2nd in the filtered list, I want 64 as the results. This is a hot one,, if someone has a solution, I'd love to hear it. Thanks in advance.

Puzzling. What is your global filter definition?
How do you establish that a brand is 64th in the first place (through lining up a measure?)

Elaborate a bit more on the details please....

Lets say I have 64 brands. I put a global filter on brand to just show 3 of them. So now I've narrowed my block of data down to 3 items. If I rank them as is,, they will be ranked 1-3. If I have no global filter I have 64 brands and if I use the rank commnad I will have 1-64. I want to use a global filter to show just 3 of the brands and but rank them against the entire 64.

Try that nofilter with a break included on the brand??? That's my problem.

I did. It worked fine.
