Hoping one of you out there can lend a Hand... I have a PBX that has a DID range of 6500-6649.... I have run out of DID's and really want to start moving users to Extensions in the range 2250-2400.

I have programmed a few 3903 and 2008 sets with these extensions. The problem is that users with Extensions in this range are unable to forward their phone to an external number.... I have configured the keys to CFW 12 to allow a full LD number -> I know not good but I have been instructed to make it work. I have also set CLS to XCFA to allow external call forward.

If I change KEY 0 to a DID the calls forward fine... but none of the extensions will forward giving the following error. "The service is not accesable from this service"

I'm wondering if there is some sort of table that need to be updated with the extension range that I would like to use?

Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Thank you

Sorry... My post was wrong... CLS is CFXA...

the switch is not giving that recording so it is being blocked by your carrier.

This could be a billing issue with what is being pulsed out to the LEC as your billing or DID number. if you call from that number to the forwarded number do you get the same recording?

It only happens on the forward, the extensions are able to call any number..

OK, did some more testing and the phone will forward if diealed from an internal phone... so call just the extension.

It fails if you call the main number from an external number, and try to put in the extension. Could this be a Callpilot problem?

thank you

One other thing that may help relieve your DID issue is to change any rollover key's from DID's to 5 digit extensions. A simple TNB capture, and running mv parser from GHTROUT's site would help aid in this.

Check the restriction permission lists in the Call Pilot.

Specifically the one that is used for the application on the main number.

See what numbers are allowed that match your DIDs and add the new range to the allowed list.
