Help! Problem installing a 100D w/Merlin Mail system 1

Hi, i'm totally stumped on this one - wondering if anybody else has had the same problems i'm facing.

When attempting to install a 100D into my existing Merlin Legend 6.1 v 11 system ( currently has 3 - 408 modules + 1 O12 which is the merlin mail system ) the Merlin Mail system boots but does not recognize all it's ports. It's a 6 port v/m system, but it only comes up with 4 lines, whats worse is line #3 appears to be perpetually hung.

yes i've already done a board renumber, a system renumber, and everything else I could think of - i cannot get the merlin mail system and the 100d to play nicely together. If I remove the 100d the merlin mail system is happy (after a board renumber) ..

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated!

In case anybody wants to know the answer to this one.
you can't have a 100D installed next to a Merlin mail system ..

Thanks for the Info. I gave you a star Another thing to keep in mind is you should not Use a 100d With PRI as the first trunk card in the system (801-823). I did it figuring that I will Put the cards least likely to be replaced towards the processor.

Slot 1 MLX16
Slot 2 MLX16
Slot 3 100D
Slot 4 100D

I put the older 8 port boards toward the right so If I have to replace them to condense the system it would be easier.
Well Anyway, The system sends errenous status messages to the central office which locks up the Whole thing. AVAYA said it could be minutes after the PRI is up, or It could be years. But when it does happen it sure gets the customer bent out of shape.

The Legend R7V14.2 Or Magix R2V10.2 fixed the Problem But you need Firmware 20 or later in the 100D Card. I upraded the software in the system I had problems with and all seems ok but it took a year for it to happen the first time and about 3 months later till it happened again. The C.O. Busied out the first channel at their end (801) and it did fix the problem till I did the upgrade.
