HELP! Panasonic KX-P1124 Driver in FPD2.6 DOS

I want to print from Foxpro 2.6 DOS to Panasonic KX-P1124 (24Pin Printer). But the drivers available in FPD2.6 are : KX-P1090, KX-P1090, and KX-P3151.
If you have the driver for KX-P1124 or how to generate printer drive for KX-P1124 please tell me how to do it.

If you installed the complete FPD 2.6, then go to \GOODIES\PDRIVERS. You just need to update the P_CODES.DBF and rebuild the GENPD.APP. You'll obviously also need all the printer dependent information, which the specific printer documentation (or manufacturer) should be able to supply.

If you printer is set for EPSON emulation, you can still use the Epson LQ drivers.

Why do people need drivers for Foxpro for dos?

Have I missed something??

We use Panasonic KXP1124 & KXP2124 (24 dot Matrix Printers)
at a few of our sites (20 or so) for invoice printers, Foxpro 2.5 Point of sale system. (dos)

Unless you are doing some strange stuff, other than bold, changing the character set, you can use the escape sequences for it... (what I do for all reports to, Panasonics, Oki's, Stars, and HP Lasers (GL3))

if you need any escape sequences let me know... & I will have a look at a couple of our reports...

Thank you alll folks for replying....

My problem is : when I print more than 1 pages ; the KX-P1124 will continue printing without waiting me to insert the next paper.

So I have to wait in front of the printer to insert paper. If not ; the printer will printing in its rubber roller (sorry, I dont know what's the name).

I have used EPSON LQ driver to print to KX-P.
I also dont have the manual since it was lost.

Please tell me how to edit this P_CODES.DBF file.

Check printer switch to "Single Sheet". If is right,
maybe is DIP switch set to 12 inch and paper lenght is 11, or detector end-of-sheet is corrupted. (sorry my english)

The P_CODES.DBF is like any other standard DBF table - use FP to add a record for your printer, then add the appropriate escape sequences to control the printer (see similar printers for the format). Don't forget to then rebuild GENPD.APP.

I have the KXP-P1124i Quick Reference Card
if you want

Can look for the manual if you want, (should have
it somewhere, but don't really want to scan it all in)

the only thing you could change will probably be
the page length, we have it set to 5.5" for our invoices

I can scan it in....
