In center of the unit. Had our vendor in here thought unit was bad - now seems to not be the case as a new unit was tried with same error. Control unit doesn't seem to recognize the expansion unit. Meanwhile, I have an entire building without phones! The vendor seems to think a new power supply is the answer but if you all can shed any insight - I know the lights mean something but cannot Google an answer (meaning I don't have ability to log in to Avaya's site as I am only the end user). Thank you - Linda

@IPGuru - yes, I have removed all phone lines and attempted to get this thing to boot with only a new power supply and connection to control unit - still in the reboot loop....

Not sure if you did this but did you remove all connections to the DS30 then reboot both the IP Office and the DS30. Wait for about 5 minutes and see if they sync.
Mike

@teletechman - yes, I did and unfortuantely no luck....no matter what the DS30 just shows green for about 30 seconds goes to red for about 15 and repeats that cycle...

Are you using the Avaya Blue cable between the control unit and the DS30?
Mike

Well, if it is not solved by now it is either time for a new partner or a new system.
It seems to me if i get on a location with this problem it will be solved when i leave (must have) as it effects a lot of users, that is unacceptable.
