Greetings PBX Gurus

Is there anyone can solve my problem ? Here's the case :
I got a working fine PBX system with KX TEM 824 and a Cisco Router with Voip Card. When I test with an SLT connected directly to the router, it works just fine to make a call to a Voip number. How to set the PBX system, so all of the ext can make a call using the voip ? the PBX has 6 CO's. to make an outgoing call we use 9/81.
Please help :(

ata output is indentical to pstn line -48volt with 90-105volt 50hz ringing the 824's default values should work fine! in order to access line 5 on your apt phones you need a line 5 to be defined as connected and you must have flexible co button on it for line 5 and each ext has to have access to line 5 all you may have to play with in programming is possibly the flash timing and caller id if your ata is sending dtmf instead of fsk !This system is brainless compared to the top of the range !Try help files they can be a lifesaver....

On the console menu,
Go to Extension
Then Flexible buttons
CO Buttons No.5
If not assigned to somebody for speed dialing ,Click on it and the CO Button 5 Pops up in blue pane.
Select single CO
Then under CO Line Number, select 5.

Hope thats what CWC3 is trying to mean.

Correction welcome

@cwc3 : Oh OK I get it, I've done it
@otoni79 : I've done it too

Thx guys :D

Yup :)
It works... thx a lot for your help :)

hi how can i configure that dial 9/81 outside call i like to replace the dial 81, i'm using dial 9 for local call it hit CO2 and CO3 and dial 81 is for international call CO1

Use ars to select lines by lead number

Would be a lot easier with prog tool

ARS? Does your TEM have ARS? Our TA's don't, but if you put CO5 in Trunk Group 1, it will be the first choice when ou dial 9.

Yes it does have ars, he wants to be able to select lines for local and international calls.

on our system it does not matter what group the co is on , highest line no is givin when 9 is dialed, trunk groups are used for ars

@obtsystems sir if i change that dial 81 to for example i change it to dial 82 it will apply to all internal local number, if they dial 82 it will route to C01 witch is my outside international calls and if i dial 9 it will hit C02 or C03 for my outside local calls?

what I am saying is if you setup ars,you can dial 9 for all calls, and program the lead numbers so if you dial 00 it will pick co 1, if you dail any other number it will go out on lines 2-3

Perhaps he is asking for the step-by-step guide to do the ARS

if you want everything starting with 00 to go on line 1 and everything else on co 2,3 I can set it up on ars on backup sent over so you can see what to do

Unless you are volunteering to do free step by step programming for someone else, you probably should not suggest we do it.

That's why ARS is covered very thoroughly in the manual.

At the very least, it onlly requires two routes and two tables for digit screening.
