Hi All,

I am new to MAS90 customization.

Any sample scripts/Ideas to customize a screen for example, I need to filter some of the customers in customer maintenance for a specific users. Is it feasible? If it is then please help me on how to move forward.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Krish

Yes you can filter customers to only show some to certain users. You need some type of field to use as your filter criteria. In Library Master there is a Lookup Customization Wizard.

Hi Dawn,

Thank you for the info.

It only filtered the lookup and not when I navigate the customers. I have created a custom field called "PrivateCustomers" (boolean field) and filtered using the Lookup Customization wizard. When I clicked up the lookup button it showed up the customers based on the filter thats fine.

However, when I navigate the customers I can able to view, modify, delete any customers which was not I wanted to be.

Also I am looking on for how to do this programmatically and accross the AR module wherever customers and their info should be available as per the filter for specific users.

Please help.

Thanks in advance
Krish

Using Roles you can limit who can modify or delete customers.

As far as I know there is no way short of custom programming to limit who seems what customers.

If you use Customizer to hide the navigation buttons and lock the lookup, they won't be able to scroll and can't type in a customer ID, only use the lookup. That should solve the issue.
