One of my remote locations reports a probem with their new BCM400. Have any of you see this:

Phone calls change ‘park numbers’ when other calls are picked up. Call A is parked at 101 and then call B on 102. If 101 is picked up then Call B becomes 102. This is very odd, once a call is parked its number should be static until its picked up.

I'm confused. You said that you park two calls - 101 and 102. If someone picks up 101 (call A), the second call would still be on 102 (call B), which is correct.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, sounds normal to me.

Not based on this post, but my dealings with customers, I am assuming (I know never assume) that you meant to post, that Call B is jumping to 101. I always get this type of telephone call after a new install, when the customer demands that I keep the 45 second timeout.

If the 2nd call is defaulting to 101 - chances are, the first call (a)was picked up - the 2nd call (b)rang back to the phone that parked it, and was re-parked - since 101 was free, the call then parked on 101. The system will default to lowest mode.
Increase the Call Park timeout - 45 seconds is waaaaay too short especially with user's just trying to figure out how to handle the call.

You're correct, there was a typo. Call on 101 is picked up, and call on 102 gets parked to 101.

The time issue suggested here makes sense, even though users say they are not reparking the call. They claim it is happening automatically. Hmmm.
