Please help out a newbie here. I just got thrown onto our 3300 system and trying to figure out how it works. I think I am getting some of it. I see we have a range of DIDs xxxx8400-8500 on the PRI line. Internal extension is from 1000-2000. Caller can call a pstn number and goes directly to an extension. but i dont know how/where to find this mapping. please help.

Could be in a few places. First places I would look is Trunk Service assignment to see if you're doing any modifications to the incoming DID digits from the telco. 2nd would be to check System Speed Call to see if DID's that don't match your extension range are set up as speed calls to actual DN's. This may also be done in Call ReRouting Assignment.

it was in the speed call. thank you for your help Lundah.
