Hi

I am running into problem setting up the Networker module for Oracle on redhat linux

We have installed the following on Redhat Linux Server 64bit x86 server where our Oracle server is running.

lgtoclnt-7.2.1-1 32 bit x86 client.
( we could not find the 64bit x86 client on the download site ).

lgtonmo-4.2-1 64 bit x86 client.

After the install we configured the nsrnmo scripts as per the install guide and ran the "sbttest test" command as oracle user that failed with the following output

---------------------------------------------------------
$ sbttest test

The sbt function pointers are loaded from oracle.static library.
libobk.so could not be loaded. Check that it is installed
-----------------------------------------------------------

Please advise in this regard,

Regards

this is part of Oracle, you need to ensure Oracle is instaleld correctly.
Yuo should have /usr/lib/libobk.so is lnked to $ORACLE_HOME/lib/libobk.so

Thank you TDun, We are still running into the same error even after linking /usr/lib/libobk.so to $ORACLE_HOME/lib/libobk.so. Please advice.

hopefully it was just a typo from you both but the actual linking is as follows for x86 linux

% ln -s /usr/lib/libnwora.so libobk.so

We reinstalled NMO and relinked to fix the problem. Thank you all, the information you provided was helpful.
