Hello,

I have what is called a combined sales report. The report compares sales of our customers for the years 2006 and 2007. The report runs just fine. What is happening is if there is a new customer as of 2007, it will not show them on the report and I am guessing it is due to the fact that they were not a customer in 2006. Every customer that we have notice that is missing is indeed a new customer for 2007. However if they were customers in 2006 and 2007, their sales data shows up just fine. Is there a formula that would fix this? Or does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Please post the query you are using to pull the data. You probably will want to use an outer join to gather your data.

Were are comparing ytd sales of 2006 and 2007 on a report. We are noticing that regardless of whether the customer has sales for 2007, if the customer was not a customer in 2006, they will not show up on the report. Sorry, I hope I explained it a little better.

You probably are using an inner join where an outer join is needed. Can't really tell you any more details without seeing the actual query.
