Help Needed for Win2k backup!!!!!!!

I've made a backup.bkf file on a hard disk with win2k backup
and now when a try to restore this file it write me
"The backup file is unusable " what kind of utilities could restore or repair this backup file ....??
i need the information stored there
Please help ASAP
