Hello all,
I am an experienced BCM tech, but have little experience setting up RCC. I have a cust with an existing call center who had it working previously, but cannot make it work now, and seem to have lost the password needed to get into it.

My question is, is there another tech out there who I could bring along side me (maybe working remotely with me on site) to get this customer set up correctly?

Please reply to this message if you are interested in helping me with this.

The Call Center has 5 phones, 1 skill set, and 1 PRI coming into it

I hope to hear from a qualified support guy (or gal) real soon.

The cust has given me a deadline of Nov 15.

Chris

No such thing as a BCM50 Release 3.7

It's either a 400 Rel 3.7 or a 50 Rel 1, 3, 5 or 6

Check into it and get back to us.

Sorry, my mistake.

It is a BCM50 r3. Installed new about 3 or 4 years ago.

OK then. The first thing to do, especially with RCC related issues, is to make sure the system is patched current. Those older releases are riddled with RCC problems.

Get that done first and we'll go from there.

Ok, I've looked into it, and the system was last patched current in late 2008. I"m going to get down there this afternoon and dump the latest (Oct 05, 2011) SU System and SU Desktop patches onto the BCM.

You'll be loading RCC 2.5.46x which has problems with MS .net framework 2,3,4 with any service packs. Will need to remove these first before IIS is loaded on server/PC. If they are already installed remember in Add/Remove Programs to remove newest one first (ex. MS .net framework 3.5 SP1. Hope this helps before you got to installing the actual program.
