What is your Impromptu version and what version is your Database?

anumala28,
Sounds like you have a similar problem to that which tizzyb had last week - Oracle and CASE (IFTHENELSE statements) becoming DECODE.
Take a back-up copy of the cogdmor.ini file first and then change the relevant "Case_To_Decode=T" to "Case_To_Decode=F" under headers[Exceptions General ORACLE *.*] (*.* being version no.s) and try with that.
(Restore backup copy if it doesn't help)
HTH,

drlex,
we have a VERY similar problem using Impromptu v7.1 MR2 on a WIN 2003 machine.

But we use SQL server 2000 database.

Is there a similar file for SQL settings as the .ini you mention in your response ?

Thanks

Donafran,
There's the cogdmod.ini file for the ODBC connection, which I understand is the .ini file for SQL server. However, I haven't found the need to modify it with a similar set up (Win2K/Win2K Server, 7.1MR2 and SQLserver2000).
Did it work before an upgrade? If so, what got changed?
What is the exact error message?
lex
