Hi all,

We have a dedicated web server running far way from our office (ISP co-location). Our office is set up with Windows 2003 server and a couple of machines.
Since the web server runs completely separately we have to user terminal service to go on to the web server to do the backup and ftp back. It is not a feasible solution so we consider a VPN connection between Office and web server.
We bought a Netgear FVS318 but could not figure out how to implement the VPN.
I have several questions:
1. On the web server side, we do not want to lose the web traffice after the VPN is setup. To achieve that do we need to get another IP address or network card?
2. Do we need to purchase the ProSafe client in order to setup the VPN? Especially the VPN should not affect the web traffice.
3. I tried to set up a VPN connection in the router with remote address set up as the address of web server. After that I could not reach the web server at all. I must configure the setting via terminal service. How to achieve that?

I really appreciate your help. Thanks!

the best way to do is creating router to router VPN. Since the oruter and web are using the different ports, so they can use the same ip.

Anyone can explain what's wrong? Here is some portion of the router log:
