I know the experts here have an answer to this! I have searched and searched to no avail:
We install the Apache files for our users as part of our install. We then install and start the service for them using a batch file.
c:\apache2\bin\apache.exe -k install
c:\apache2\bin\apache.exe -k start
The problem is it crashes everytime because by default it sets the Log On As properties in Services to "Local System account". We need it to be set to the currently logged in user, if they type in c:\apache2\bin\apache.exe with no other switches the program works and seems to use the account rights we need.
So I guess the question is:
Is there a argument I can pass to say run as current users account, the way that simply typing in apache.exe seems to do?
Something like: c:\apache2\bin\apache.exe -k start -?run as current user?
THANKS IF YOU READ ALL THAT!
