Hi All,
I have a big problem ?.Please ..........
How can we give a default value for a promptwhose sorce is a catalog and the display column is a Varchar???????

like:
Name = form type
source = TYPE table
column used Type Id and
Column displayed is TYPE_description
Default is "leather".

Do you want to set a default value permanently or you want to set the default value if you dont answer for the prompt?

if you want set a use default value option u can find that in the Advanced option.Click the advance button in the prompt window, we will find a check box

I tried but what I want is I want to select a record leather from the column and I want it to be as a default value .I tried in the Advance tab but couldn't see the data and the default is disabled.
