i have made a simple dropdown menu using show/hide layers in dreamweaver It works find in ie5 etc but in ie4 it behaves really weirdly. the layers (which contain tables with links) appear as they should but when the mouse goes over a link in the table the layer disappears completely.
whats going on ?
I'd really appreciate any help

Every browser has its own interpretation of html, and how to convert it to what you see. Keep in mind that not all browser support the use of dhtml, and if you view your page in netscape 4 or lower it probably wouldn't even work at all.
If this all wasn't the problem, i'm guessing theres'something wrong with the browser (ie4) you viewed your page in.

Three menu boxes - each have a heading
Idea is that when one heading is clicked a drop down menu slides down
When you click on another heading a drop down menu slides down and the
previous slides back up (play reverse timeline)

Issue: if you actually click twice on one of the headings - it doesn't slide
back up when another header is clicked. Not until the third header is
clicked then both slide back up.

Why is this double click causing a problem? Any ideas?
