Help keeps popping up in Photoshop 7

I am having trouble with several computers popping up Photoshop help on their own while we're editing images in Photoshop. It's continuous and as soon as you close one window, 2 more open. I fixed one computer by re-installing, but it seems that it can happen to any of the computers at any time. The OS is Win2k and XP Pro. Anyone else having trouble with this? Any thoughts?

Does it happen when you press a key or use a tablet/pen?

Or does it just happen on its own, when Photoshop is just open?

At first I thought it was fat fingering the keyboad or maybe even a plain keyboard error. Now I'm not sure. I just noticed that it only stops after I re-install PhotoShop. It may be caused buy another application, some OS setting, or something else totally. It's not a big thing, but it is irritating. I have also noticed that Photoshop quite frequently forgets it's settings. It forgets the scatch disk settings, extra plugins folders, etc......

It used to be that lesser quality drawing tablets (ones that were not WACOM), could be set off by a metal wrist watch.

I've actually had it occur on Wacoms as well.

It could be time to replace the nib in the pen too.

Sorry, but it was bad cables on the keyboards or bad keyboards. At least it was keyboard related, because new keyboards fixed it on them all. Why it only showed up PhotoShop, I can't explain...... Thanks for your efforts !

This has been known to happen if you version of photoshop is not legit.
