Hi,
I am trying to install tomcat-4.1.24 on my machine.
I have installed j2sdk1.4.1_02 and Java Web Development Services kit.
When I click on tomcat.exe, prompt window opens for about 10 seconds an dies. Nothing happens and when I click on startup I get eror message (cannot find the file '-Djava.endorsed.dirs='(orone of its components).make sure the path and file name are correct and that all required libraries are available.).
I have defined variable in "start", "control panel","System","Adwanced","environment Variables", "User Variables for Administrator" As JAVA_HOME c:\j2sdk1.4.1_02\bin but I ame not sure whether its rigt or wrong.
I would appriciate if some one could help me with step by step help.
