HI all

i need full explanation for this code

GHGRI: GRP=XXXX, LIM=1, SERV=11001, TRAF=15, SEL=112000, QUE=10;

GHGRI
create a hunt group

SERV=11001
1 hunt group is open for DID traffic
1 no recall provided when operator extends call to hunt group
0 doesn't matter
0 no music-on-hold
1 Brazilian collect call system allowed

TRAF=15
calls to hunt group are allowed to all users of PBX

SEL=112000
1 Search according to free list
1 Internal calls to hunt group are put in que
2 Diversion not permitted when que is full
000 external overflow/follow me not allowed

QUE=10
maximum 10 calls can wait in que, 11th call will be rejected

After GHGRI command you have to use GHGMI to define group members.

Thanx for your reply

but what is happen if i put

QUE=0

or

QUE=4

OK MDTAREQ,

If you have, for example, 4 people in a hunt group:
- first four calls will be answered by your people.
- fifth call goes into que and listens to music, announcements, whatever you use in your system. Fifth caller waits for any of your people to become free.

If QUE=0, and all 4 group members are busy, all further calls are rejected ( 5th caller receives busy tone)
If QUE=4, maximum 4 callers can be in a que,and wait for first free group member. So in that case 4 people are talking,4 people can wait in que, 9th caller gets busy tone.

I hope that I explained this concept good enough...

I have another question about serv

SERV=11010;
abcde

There is 3 choice for ( d )

0= No music in wait
1=???
2=???

And what is deference between 1 & 2

d=1 to turn on music on hold
d=2 is a special case, music on hold is turned on only if you have RVA in your system. (RVA = recorded voice announcement, there is special board for that purpose)
